Nathan Stotts was indicted on manslaughter and reckless homicide charges for the May 30 fatal shooting of 27-year-old Martin Nitzken Jr. Body camera footage showed the unarmed man advancing toward the officer before being shot. The police chief said nonlethal force should have been used.
