In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old grandson, Miguel Castro, Jr., is accused of fatally stabbing his 57-year-old grandmother at a residence on Parkhurst Boulevard in Tonawanda. The Erie County District Attorney's Office reported the stabbing took place around noon on Monday at the 1100 block of Parkhurst. The grandmother succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
