Five people were injured after a CPD squad car was involved in a car crash in West Garfield Park. Two Chicago police officers were responding to a call when a driver failed to yield to their sirens at an intersection in West Garfield Park and caused a crash, Chicago police said. The driver and two male passengers were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with minor injuries. Two officers were in good condition at a local hospital. The drive was also taken into custody and charges are pending, according to police.
