A 43-year-old Alexandria man attacked another person twice in hours—first hitting him with a vehicle on Mount Vernon Avenue, then stabbing him. Police arrested Edvin Lopez Garin after witnesses provided his license plate number. The victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
