Juven Pineda, 34, allegedly smuggled a 16-year-old from Honduras, then told her she owed $13,500 and forced her into sexual slavery to pay it. He faces second-degree rape and human trafficking charges. Pineda was arrested in North Carolina in April 2024 and held without bond.
